Ellicott City, a brave land that has survived at least 16 devastating floods from 1817 till 2018 and still stands with beauty and eligence. We were totally floored with the historical importance of the city. The city is named after the Ellicott brothers who established Mills and revolutionized farming.

Went today during Harry Potter wizard weekend! It was cute I enjoyed myself! Parking is crazy but that's to be expected! Loved every store I went in! And it's being built back up really well!

Best Main street in the world, hands down!!! Flood after flood & a few major fires but Main St EC is like a fine wine, it gets better with age. Well over 200+ yrs & it's still thriving. Even the worst flooding the town has ever seen in July 2016 only temporarily halted life as EC knew it for only a few months, but hard work, dedication, great neighbors,volunteers, complete strangers & a top notch County Executive Alan Kittleman along with the great MD Governor Larry Hogan, Ellicott City MD is back & better than ever before. As our motto says, "You can't keep a good town down." Thanks to all who helped out & a HUGE THANKS to our first responders for risking their own lives to rescue those in need. Unfortunately, we lost 2 people during the flood & a store(Precious Gifts) owner a few days later while trying to repair his store from the flood damage. God bless all 3 lives taken from us & their loved ones. Come & visit Ellicott City, you won't be disappointed.

I have driven through Ellicott City many times but i finally spent time there in the historic district. So glad i did and i must return. So charming, educational, and quaint. Best kept historic district.

While we were downtown in historic Ellicott City, I took my son to an Easter egg hunt and Earth Day activities at the newly-opened Willow and Oak Wellness Center. We had a wonderful time and are so happy to see this new business opening up. Can't wait to come back next week during Spring Fest to check out their Bentos for Kids workshop.
